How your data stays private
Your documents are processed on hardware you own and never leave it. Nothing is sent to ModelSide or any cloud, and the tools do not need an internet connection to work day to day. We sign an NDA before we open a single file. For medical and dental practices, the same rule applies in writing. Built to support your HIPAA obligations: patient data is processed on hardware you own, nothing is sent to ModelSide or any cloud, and we sign a Business Associate Agreement. In medical settings the tools help with administration and documentation only, not clinical decisions.
Questions we hear
Does it work with scanned documents?
Yes. Scans and faxes are converted to text on the same machine, so they become searchable like any other file. Poor scans can still cause errors, so we test with your real files during the build.
How do we know the answer is right?
Each answer points to the passage and the file it was drawn from. Treat the output like a draft from a new assistant: check it, especially names, dates, amounts and citations.
Does it need the internet?
Day to day, no. The models and the search index live on the machine, so searching and drafting work offline. We connect only to download models at setup, apply updates and run a support session you start.
Does it connect to our practice software or document system?
Out of the box it reads PDFs, Word files, scans, email and spreadsheets, which most systems can export. A direct connection to a practice or document system is scoped per project and written into the plan before work starts.
